Since 1999, Associated Community Services has grown to become one of the nations' largest and most respected professional fundraising organizations. Associated Community Services (ACS) is a powerful partner driving client campaigns to their fullest potential. Despite the challenging times, ACS is able to achieve meaningful growth in the amount of donations generated for its clients year after year. ACS continually exceeds the revenue goals its charity partners communicate, as ACS methodically expands its influence within the United States. Each year, the company excels by expanding fundraising talent. This translates to more employees allocated to the client, which in turn yields an increase in the dollars raised for the clients’ causes. ACS has established itself as a top tier fund raising organization, offering an array of services in addition to campaign solicitations.
“Making a Difference”
“Making a Difference” sets Associated Community Services above its competitors. ACS strives to build upon the dreams and aspirations of its community by providing excellent career opportunities as well as a chance to contribute to the greater good of metropolitan Detroit. ACS believes in Community and Service.
In the fall of 2009, ACS employees initiated a “Casual for a Cause” program whereby employees have an option of enjoying a relaxed dress code on Fridays by donating to a specific charity in southeast Michigan, which has included local food banks, various shelters, special schools and orphanages. This program continues to be a huge success!
In addition to monetary donations, ACS employees donate time. Some various involvement has included building homes with Habitat for Humanity, serving food at shelters, maintaining a garden at the Detroit Zoo, taking orphan girls shopping at the mall, accompanying young foster boys to a pumpkin patch, raising funds for the Junior Michigan Thunderbirds (a local youth wheelchair basketball team) and conducting an in-house talent show to raise awareness and funding for Motor City Blight Busters.
